Oak coffee table

This oak coffee table is fully sculpted, taking inspiration from the live edges and gnarly burrs inherent in the boards. The beautiful figure and pippy knots are in keeping with the rugged beauty of its Scottish highland origins. The tree was felled as part of an estate maintenance and has been naturally replaced with saplings from the acorns of this very tree. 

The table measures 1m x 1m x 35cm. Finished in Osmo polyx-oil 3032 Clear satin.
